What is Community Acupuncture?
Community acupuncture involves treating multiple people at once in a large group setting. This allows patients to receive more frequent treatments at a lower fee, and thus more desirable results. The community setting is a common form of practice in Asia, and is now becoming more popular in the US. The group healing setting not only allows for more affordable treatments, but also increases overall healing energies in one room. As human beings and mammals, we are naturally drawn to community. We seek comfort, support, and strength from those around us. During community acupuncture you receive the support from the energy of those around you, while also finding relaxation during your own individual treatment.
